My 2 whistles I use are the blue bird and chickadee in aluminum. We have a lot of wind here the sound carriers well. Easy to blow.

Super good for a newbie
I was never able to whistle and I'm now learning to use the shepperd whistle. I have tried many and managed to make some sounds, but with this whistle it has been super easy to make it sound and sound good. I still need to use it at the field, but for learning it's helping a lot.

Good sound, easy to use for a beginner. I can whistle just fine without a sheep dog whistle. But I needed to get better range. Have tried other ones with little success. This one worked just fine
