My Lil retired at 10 to be
Maureen’s husband, Nelson’s dog.
Lil had been declining for the last
6 months or so. She couldn’t walk
anymore, Nelson slept with her all
night the night before she had to
be let go. He loved her and she
loved him. Gave her a great end of life.
Lil would have been 16 this March.
Nelson has given it a lot of thought.
He would like another retired herding
Border Collie Female, Black & White,
or Red & White.
They have easy work for the dogs.
Fairly large flock of purebred white
faced dorpers and numerous
pastures to move them around.
Great place to retire. I call them
Border Collie Club Med. ?
