It was a lovely tea pot!

It was a lovely tea pot!

I want, on occasion to share some of my favorite art with you. Most is old and wonderful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This piece, Mutters ganzer, is by Carl Reichert (1836-1918). Who could not resist these little trouble makers. I enjoyed the use of color in this piece. Form the red collar that is on only one puppy, which in turn leads you back up to the sugar bowl, and back to the tea pot, which is the same creamy color of that unsuspecting, little pup, tugging so hard, with his soft Innocent eyes. The lovely shawl on the chair directs your path and gently keeps you replaying this soon to be tragic event, when the Mrs will certainly be yelling for someone to gather their little dogs..
