Blue Bird whistle
The wider whistles did not work for me. This one is perfect and i can make clear sounds. It was the reviews that made me want to try it and I am so glad I did.

In a moment of panic at an Open trial I realized I forgot my whistle (duh). Some nice guy named Norm C. so generously loaned me a Blue Bird Brass whistle. The first time my dog heard it was after a 550 yd outrun and the sound out of the whistle amazed me. My dog took the whistle commands like we had been using the whistle for years. The sound is amazingly clear with a great tone at loud or quiet volume. It instantly became my favorite whistle. It is a heavier whistle so maybe that is why it never sounds shrill. Definitely the whistle I always carry now.

I had a Logan whistle before getting this one and was having problems keeping it in my mouth and getting consistent tones. Vickie helped with all my questions and recommended I should try the Blue Bird. I bought the Brass one and I love it!
