No worries, snap back to the small ring for a slip lead. These are very narrow leads, just 3/8 of an inch, 42 inches long they will easily fit in your pocket. They are stitched for strength as rivets will tear small leads.

I have a longer leash in peacock. I like it so much, that I bought a shorter one in plum. It fits easily in my pocket before an agility run, and is easy to put on my dog at the end. I love this leash!

Wonderful durability 43" farm leash
I have two of these leashes with me on the ranch all day, either coiled in my jean pocket or slung around my shoulder. Today, I used them to break up a livestock guardian dog fight!! I wrapped the leash like a slip lead around one dog's waist and fastened the clip to a gate. I then did the same to the other dog to pull him away from the other dog. These dogs are well over 100 lbs; the larger one had to see the vet because of this incident and he weighs 152 lbs!! Anyway, your lead at only 3/8 of and inch wide held that enormous amount of pulling and strain without tearing out the stitching!! Wonderful quality and because they are so easy to have with you due to the size they were available for me for unintended use in an emergency. I can't speak enough of my happiness with these leads!!!

This is the first time I purchased this trial lead but I can tell I am going to love it. It is light weight and snaps are good. It fits easily across my body when needed to be off the dog and stored. Can't wait to trial with it.

Great Everyday and Trial Leash
I bought this leash to use at trials, but it's so easy to slip into a pocket or wear over my shoulder that I end up using it around the farm. That way I always have a leash handy when I need one. I've had one for a few years and it still looks like new. They hold up well!
